背景技术
小型手持电子设备在社会中已变得无处不在，并且人们正变得越来越依赖于这些设备来尤其是获得信息、与其他人通信、提供娱乐、以及执行金融交易。但是随着这些设备变得越来越有能力，一个人可以用来操作设备的图形用户界面（GUI）仍是相对简陋的，因此妨碍用户充分利用设备的能力。

术语‘状态’包括情况、上下文或两者。因此，状态认识可以包含上下文认识、情况认识或两者。在情况认识、上下文认识和状态认识中，正在考虑的因素可以局限于被视为相关或可能相关的那些因素。另一方面，当并未指定特定的结果或信息类型时，可以将所有因素视为可能相关，并且在某些实施例中，设备可以不断监视和处理许多此类因素，即使并不立即需要该信息。
本发明的各种实施例可以为用户提供方便的图形用户界面（GUI）以通过类别和应用的矩阵进行导航，可以以有助于设备的用户的方式组合多个应用和/或数据，和/或可以基于状态认识自动地呈现信息。
图1示出根据本发明的实施例的用于无线通信的多功能手持用户设备。所示设备110被示为具有各种组件，诸如触摸屏（触敏显示屏）120和按钮A、B和C。还示出了透镜130，其可以是设备的照相机的外部可见部分。还可以包括其它按钮、传感器、输出设备等，但是其并未被示出以避免图中过度杂乱。

图形用户界面中的类别—应用矩阵
多功能手持电子设备可以执行用于用户的许多有用功能，包括通信、数据检索/呈现、数据分析、调度以及其他。这些功能可以由特定的应用程序来执行，其中的每一个可以能够检索、处理、并在感兴趣的特定区域中呈现数据。然而，可以在不同的感兴趣区域中使用特定的应用程序，并且可以在每个区域中以不同的方式使用特定的应用程序。在常规设备中，用户必须选择应用程序，可能需要选择适用于感兴趣的特定区域的应用的特定配置，并且然后在可以开始任何有用的处理之前针对该区域检索数据。在本发明的各种实施例中，可以通过为用户呈现选择的矩阵来组织该过程，其中，矩阵的一个轴表示感兴趣区域（在这些示例中标记为‘类别’），并且另一轴表示应用。用户可以容易地从头至尾翻滚类别和应用选择的矩阵以找到适当的组合，在该点处，设备可以采用用于该选择的所指示的构造和数据来自动地检索适当的应用。
可以以各种形式来显示此矩阵。在某些实施例中，可以将矩阵呈现为虚拟立方体，用户能够在视觉上对其进行旋转以达到不同的选择。由于立方体是虚拟的而不是物理的，所以其可以能够呈现比物理立方体将局限于的六个面更多（或更少）。该立方体可以被以各种方式在显示器中旋转，诸如但不限于：1）旋转设备上的物理控制轮，2）与触摸屏分离的操纵杆、轨迹球、触控板或触摸按钮，或类似的多向物理控制设备，3）跨越显示立方体的触摸屏拖曳手指、触针或其它元件，4）分离的X-Y输入设备，5）及其他。
图2A和2B示出根据本发明的实施例的多个类别—应用矩阵。所示的标记仅仅是用于示例，而不应将其视为对可以使用的可能标记的限制。图2A、2B未示出立方体，而是示出了可以用立方体选择的类别和应用的示例。在稍后的图中示出了立方体的视觉示例。在图2A的特定示例中，存在设备可以操作于的多个模式，标记为“工作”、“家庭”和“玩”（例如，以表示用户的生活的不同领域）。对于每个模式可以存在不同的矩阵，因为在每个模式内优选功能可以是不同的。然而，某些实施例可以仅具有单个矩阵。在每个特定矩阵内，在图2A中示出了可以在该矩阵内访问的一列类别。可以预期的是，相同类别中的某些可以出现在多个矩阵中，但是不应将其视为要求。为了避免图中的杂乱，在图2A中仅示出类别。图2B示出单个矩阵（例如家庭矩阵）的展开图，具有可以与每个类别相关联的应用行。为了选择特定的应用，用户可以首先选择类别并然后选择该类别内的应用。
虽然所示的应用中的某些是众所周知的且被理解为可通过特定的软件包（例如，“语音邮件”、“日历”、“电子邮件收件箱”等）来获得，但其它所指示的应用实际上可以由一批软件包组成，并且该所指示的应用可以仅仅是将那些包以有用的方式组合的一种方式。在其它实例中，在矩阵中指示的应用可以表示由一个或多个未命名软件包对其进行作用的一批数据，和/或可以表示由设备采取的动作。因此，如本文所使用的术语‘应用’不应被太狭窄地定义，而是应包括软件包（单个或多个）和由设备采取的动作（包括向用户呈现数据）二者。
在某些实施例中，在类别的右侧示出的应用可以是一般应用（例如，用于电子邮件的“收件箱”），而在左侧示出的应用可以是非常特定的（例如，网上的“宠物的位置”或电话上的“呼叫妈妈”）。
在本示例中，存在设备在矩阵被访问时将首先显示的‘家’类别。在某些实施例中，这还可以是‘喜欢的事物’类别，其应用提供到最常使用的功能的快捷方式，无论那些喜欢的事物是自动地确定的还是由用户指定的。本示例还示出‘设置’类别以允许用户指定各种操作参数，诸如但不限于：登录ID的、铃声设置、电子邮件账户、视觉主题、可听警报，并且甚至可以是此类别/应用矩阵的内容。
包含在矩阵和/或其标记内的类别和应用可以由用户来定义，可以在设备中预定义，可以由设备基于各种参数自动地产生，或者可以由这些或其它考虑的某组合来确定。列出各种类别和应用所按照的顺序可以由用户来定义，可以在设备中预定义，可以由设备基于各种参数来自动地生成，或者可以由这些或其它考虑的某组合来确定。
图3示出根据本发明的实施例的虚拟立方体。如在本文中使用的术语‘虚拟立方体’指示在二维显示器上示出立方体的图像，但是认为立方体的二维图像表示具有不止两个维度的立方体，并且可以在该二维显示器上显示立方体的各面。在某些实施例中，一次只有立方体的单个面可以在显示器上可见。在其它实施例中，可以一次在显示器上示出两个或更多面，虽然可以以只有一个面可读的这样的锐角来示出面中的某些。这是在图3中所示的示例，其中，三个相邻的面是可见的，但是只有正面是可读的。在本文内，术语‘立方体’意指‘虚拟立方体’，除非明确地指示为物理立方体。
在本示例中，触摸屏120可以对应于图1的触摸屏120，而当正在示出虚拟立方体时，在显示器内所示的图像可以是在触摸屏120上所示的图像的一部分。特别地，图像310可以表示正向用户示出的立方体的面。在显示器的按钮附近示出了多个‘热键’320，其可以被用作到可以被以其他方式通过使用立方体来顺序地遍历多个选择步骤而访问的各种特定应用的快捷方式。示出了六个热键，但是在显示器中可以示出任何可行数目的热键。在某些实施例中，可以通过经由适当的控制机制将附加热键移动至显示器中的图像中来对其进行访问。
在各种实施例中，热键与其应用之间的映射可以被预先分配，可以由用户来指定，或者可以由设备基于各种标准（诸如但不限于使用频率）来自动地分配。在某些实施例中，可以将热键映射到另一组选择而不是直接映射到应用。在某些实施例中，可以在最初将热键映射到应用时将每个热键的标记变成某些有意义的东西。在其他实施例中，热键标记可以保持不变。在某些实施例中，热键可以映射到相同的功能，无论当时正在显示类别—应用矩阵内的哪个（哪些）节点。
在图3中，在立方体面的顶部上面或上方示出了标记“类别”以提醒用户在立方体面上正显示的图标表示类别，但是不应将这视为要求。操作立方体可以涉及使虚拟立方体绕着垂直轴‘旋转’（向左或向右旋转所显示的面以产生另一面），或者使虚拟立方体绕着水平轴旋转（向上或向下旋转立方体面以产生另一面。在某些实施例中，可以由用户通过用手指或触针触摸所显示的立方体面并沿着期望的方向跨越触摸屏拖曳手指/触针来触发该移动。在其它实施例中，可以由用户通过在触摸屏外部的其它适当控制来触发该移动。如这里使用的术语“旋转”仅仅指示立方体的所显示图像从虚拟立方体的一个面移动至另一个，无论立方体的所显示图像是否实际上看起来在旋转。
在图3的示例中仅在立方体面上示出单个类别，并且用户可以旋转立方体以访问其它类别。例如，用户可以向上或向下旋转立方体以顺序地显示图2B中所示的类别。仅示出了简单的标记‘电子邮件’以指示在立方体面上表示电子邮件类别。但是其它实施例可以在立方体面上提供更精致的图像，包括图形图像。请注意，如在本文中所使用的术语‘图形’包括在显示屏上被呈现给用户的计算机生成的图像，其可以是固定的和/或移动的。通常将仅文本图像的呈现从图形的定义中排除，虽然在图形图像中可以包括文本。
以垂直或‘竖向’格式（即垂直尺寸长于水平尺寸）配置图3的显示。但是其还可以被以水平或“横向”格式（即水平尺寸长于垂直尺寸）来加以配置。例如，在水平格式中，可以将热键定位于矩阵的侧面而不是在其上方或下方。在某些实施例中，设备可以根据设备本身是在水平还是垂直位置中取向来自动地以一个格式或另一个来配置图像。在其它实施例中，用户可以选择使用哪个格式。
图4示出根据本发明的实施例的显示应用面的虚拟立方体。此图像可以与图3的图像类似，除了在立方体面上示出用于特定类别的一组应用之外。如果用户选择了来自图3的电子邮件类别，则在此立方体面上示出的图标可以表示与该类别相关联的各种应用（示例参见图2B）。在这里示出了九个图标（三行乘三列）的矩阵，但是一次可以显示任何可行数目。如果存在可从矩阵获得的比能够在单个立方体面上呈现的更多的选择，则用户可以使用滚动技术来示出那些附加选择。各种技术可用于激活该滚动，诸如但不限于：1）在显示器120外部的控制，2）显示器上的滚动条，3）与立方体分离的显示器上的一个或多个可触摸图标，4）及其他。
在通过触摸立方体的面上的关联图标来选择特定应用之后，可以发起该应用并从显示中去除该立方体。
当旋转立方体时可以遵循各种惯例。例如，在一个实施例中，向左或向右旋转立方体将始终按顺序移动至下一个类别，并且如果示出了第一或最后一个类别，则将回绕。向上旋转可以始终返回至‘家’类别，而向下旋转可以产生在正常旋转中未示出的‘附加’类别，其包括未被覆盖在其它类别下面的各种各样的应用。在某些实施例中，旋转的效果可以取决于当前在显示器上示出的是什么。在不脱离本发明的各种实施例的基本意图的情况下，可以使用许多其它惯例。
虽然先前的说明允许虚拟立方体通过根据沿同一方向的用户输入运动来沿四个方向（左、右、上、下）中的任何一个进行旋转而呈现新的面，但某些实施例可以通过提供沿那些方向的用户输入来允许沿其他方向的附加旋转，诸如对角地（例如，左上、右上、左下、右下）。如果旋转输入简单地产生新的立方体面，则物理立方体是否可以通过沿该方向的旋转来产生新的面可能并不重要。
替换地，所显示的对象可以是虚拟多面体（每个面具有不止四个边），使得用户更容易想象使多面体沿着不止四个方向旋转。先前针对立方体描述的所有属性还可以应用于该多面体。在某些实施例中，可以以某方式在视觉上指示每个允许的旋转方向（‘允许的’意指存在通过沿该方向的旋转可获得的另一选择），同时将不产生进一步的选择的旋转将被这样标记，将不会进行响应、和/或将产生错误指示。在某些实施例中，多面体的所显示的面的每个直边可以指示另一个轴，多面体可以绕着该轴旋转。在某些实施例中，该面上的边的数目可以根据所允许的旋转的数目而变。
相关节点的动态群集
诸如图1中所示的手持电子设备可以为用户执行许多不同的功能，诸如但不限于1）允许用户通常通过多个不同的无线技术中的任何一个与其他人通信，2）使设备在没有用户的参与的情况下通常也通过各种无线技术与其它设备通信，3）拍摄静止图片或视频图片，4）通过扩音器来接收声音，5）确定设备的取向和/或运动和/或位置，6）存储并检索信息，无论在哪里获得的，7）分析输入和存储的数据，以及8）向用户呈现信息。当将这些能力组合时，可用于设备的信息量可以是极大的，并且设备能够向用户呈现的信息量也可以是非常大的。
可以获得、分析、合并及操纵输入和数据的各种组合以产生通过任何单个信息源不可直接获得的有用的信息组合。信息中的某些可以基于概率、假设以及历史行为从不完全的数据导出。为了使此间接信息足够准确而有用，应该使用上述概率、假设以及历史行为对来自多个源的数据进行组合和分析。然而，将以这种方式处理的精确数据可能根据将实现什么以及什么数据是可用的来相当大地改变。把所有潜在的数据和所有可用的应用进行归类，以确定将集中于那些东西中的哪个可能对结果得到的信息的准确度和可用性具有显著影响。
针对此问题的一个方法是执行相关节点的动态群集，其中，‘节点’可以是软件应用、数据的选择、内部或外部服务、来自传感器的输入、通信链路、用于获得这些中的任何一个的可用方式、或能够被象这样识别的有用数据或功能的各种其它源中的任何一个。如果节点提供或至少被认为可能提供将对期望的结果（针对该结果创建群集）有所贡献的数据或功能，则该节点被视为‘相关’。所述‘结果’是用户出于特定目的正试图获得的一组期望信息，并且还可以包括设备已经确定出于该特定目的可能对用户有用的信息，无论用户是否已请求该信息。此外，可以以任何可行的方式向用户呈现结果，诸如但不限于可听（扬声器或耳机）和/或可视（触摸屏或其它发光指示器）。‘群集’是已被认为对于实现该特定结果而言彼此相关的节点的集合。一旦定义了群集，则该群集中的各节点可以收集数据、与彼此交换数据、处理数据、共享其能力以产生有用的结果，并对节点内或之间的相关数据采取其它动作。促进这些交换的节点之间的特定接口超出了本文的范围。
用户可能感兴趣的结果可以频繁地改变，并且因此可以创建任何特定的群集，根据需要对其节点的组成进行修改，以及最终将其丢弃。另外，在任一时刻可以存在多个此类群集。因此应将节点的此群集的流动性质视为动态群集。然而，对某些特定结果的需求可能是正在进行的或重复的，因此某些群集可能在其存在方面和/或在其节点的组成方面被视为或多或少是永久性的。
可以以两种不同的方式来确定构成特定群集的节点集合：用户指定和自动的。在用户定义的方法中，用户能够通过定义应被视为对于该群集而言相关的节点来提前创建群集。可以从零开始定义此集合，或者可以存在可用于用户以帮助定义的模板。模板方法认识到许多类型的活动在用户之间是公共的，因此可以预定义基本关系，其中单个用户针对他/她自己的需要调整特定实施方式。
在自动方法中，设备可以执行分析以确定被视为相关的节点，并将那些节点收集在群集中，而用户不必对其进行指定。可以基于状态认识来执行此分析中的某些。
另一方法可以将用户定义和自动方法组合，其中用户定义节点中的某些，并且其它节点由设备来指定。在某些实施例中，可以给予用户接受、拒绝或修改自动确定的节点中的某些的选择。
作为此过程的示例，用户可能希望到另一城市进行度假旅行。在用户指定目的（到远处城市去旅行）之后，设备可以自动地指定使得能够实现在线航空公司、旅馆和租车预订的节点。用户可以通过选择特定的在线旅行站点以实现那些预订来对此进行修改。用户然后可以将天气指定为要考虑的因素，并且设备可以添加跟踪两个城市中以及沿着旅行路线的天气情况（既有当前的也有预报的）的节点。如果天气情况恶劣到足以影响用户的旅行计划，则设备然后可以自动地警告用户。该警告可以包括来自国家气象局的气象图和预报。如果变得需要重新计划，则设备可以使用预订节点来允许用户改变其航空公司/旅馆/租车计划。用户（或设备）还可以指定将监视在飞行日的航空公司的网站以确定用户的航班是否准时的航空公司状态节点。
用户还可以选择使得能够实现目的地城市中的娱乐计划的节点。设备可以通过因特网来获得用于饭店、艺术画廊、剧场（具有演出时间和票信息）以及在该城市中在所计划的那些天期间将可用的旅馆附近的其它感兴趣地点的信息，并且设备还可以对于那些感兴趣地点采取行动（例如，预订票、联系书店等）。此节点可以保持活动，直至旅行结束，以防用户需要重新计划这些活动中的某些。用户还可以选择交通信息节点（其将在用户正乘汽车旅行时警告用户当前的交通条件），以及当前位置节点（其将告诉设备用户位于何处，从而使得将仅注意相关的交通条件）。在出发当天，航空公司状态节点可以告诉用户他的航班是否仍计划按时起飞。但是当旅行结束时，可以删除整个群集，因为将不再需要此信息。
可以使用各种技术来允许用户定义群集的内容。当呈现节点和潜在节点时，设备的显示器可以以文本的格式对其进行示出。例如，子节点可以在主节点下面被缩进。可以使用不同的字体、颜色或字号来将所选的节点与建议的节点区别开、将强制性节点与可选节点区别开，等等。
替换地，可以以图形格式来呈现节点。例如，图5和6示出根据本发明的实施例的用于定义群集的图形格式。使用到远处城市的旅行的前一示例，创建用于该旅行的群集可以首先调用图5的显示。在中心中的圆圈中示出了“旅行”的主要目的，其中在用线连接至主圆圈的其它圆圈中示出了用于预订、娱乐、交通和天气的主节点。可以使用不同的颜色或其它可视提示来示出哪些节点被选择或仅仅是被建议，哪些节点是强制性的或仅仅是可选的，哪些节点是主要的或次要的，等等。
通过触摸特定节点，可以为用户呈现是、或可以是与其相关联的任何其它节点。例如，触摸预订节点可以如图6中所示的那样将该节点放置在中心中，被用于航空公司、旅馆和租车的所连接的子节点、以及当然已经在图5中被定义为相关的前述旅行节点围绕。触摸那些圆圈中的一个可以将该节点放置在中心中，连接到所有相关节点。这可以针对如所需的那么多的节点继续进行。在某些实施例中，可以将群集构建过程与操作过程组合，从而使得可以在单个会话中完成定义预订结构和获得所述预订。在该实施例中的某个点处，选择节点可以导致发起某种动作的应用，其在群集构建过程之外。在某些实施例中，还可以在稍后的时间使用在创建群集时定义的相同结构来到达要求用户的输入的应用（诸如进行预订）。
返回图5的显示，用户可以选择交通节点以提供在向/从出发机场和目的地机场开车时的当前交通条件、和在预订的日子在旅馆附近乘车旅行时的当前交通条件。‘当前位置’功能可以被自动地包括在交通节点中，从而使得设备将在需要交通信息的所有时间知道它在哪里。当然，在完成航空公司预订和旅馆预订之前，收集此交通信息的时间和地点的细节将不是已知的，但是可以在开始时选择所述节点，以在正确的时间将其自动地激活。可以比所需更早地针对群集类似地选择天气节点和娱乐节点。
可以在任何时间直接地由用户、或在用户进行创建对不同结构的需求的改变时间接地由用户来修改定义群集的节点的结构。当设备获得使该结构中的变化成为必需的新信息时，还可以由设备在任何时间自动地对结构进行修改。同样地，即使当节点的结构保持不变时，也可能需要改变所采取的特定动作。例如，如果恶劣天气在旅行的第一天使目的地机场关闭，则设备可以通知用户这样的事情，并且调用预订节点，从而使得可以改变航班、旅馆和租车预订。
虽然已经（用连接的圆圈）举例说明了特定图形格式，但是在不偏离出于收集并分析相关数据以获得有用信息并基于该信息采取行动的目的来创建相关节点的群集的基本思想的情况下，替代所示示例或除了所示示例之外，可以使用其它格式。
具有基于状态的模态的用户界面
手持电子设备可能能够提供有益于用户的大量信息，但是在任一时刻可能只有该信息的几个所选部分是对获得特定结果有帮助的。在具有足够能力的情况下，设备可以自动地判定哪些信息可能是有用的，如何获取该信息，应如何对获取的信息进行过滤和合并，以及应如何向用户呈现结果。特别地，向用户呈现信息的方法可以采取多个不同形式，并且优选的形式可以取决于各种考虑。用户可能指定特定的形式，但在某些实施例中，设备可以基于各种观察和推断的条件来选择呈现方法。此处应注意的是，向用户‘呈现’信息可以是交互式的，即，除了从设备向用户传送信息之外，用户可以以被设备认可的某些方式输入数据或进行反应，并且用户进行的这些动作甚至可能影响随后哪些数据被从设备传送至用户以及其如何被传送。通过设备与另一人的通信（例如蜂窝电话呼叫）将是一个示例，其中，可以将语音用于某些通信，将视频用于附加通信，以及哪一个的选择将受用户的动作影响。
可以以许多形式来呈现信息，诸如但不限于：1）可听的（口语单词、音乐、警报、其它声音等），2）真实场景的所显示的照片或视频，3）所显示的文本，4）所显示的计算机生成的图形（化身、动画片、图表、框图等），5）这些或其它呈现方法的组合。在各种实施例中，可以基于状态认识来选择特定的呈现方法，因为该术语先前已在本文中被定义了。
可能影响优选的呈现方法的因素可以包括但不限于：1）其它当前用户活动，2）那些其它用户活动的重要性，3）所述呈现方法对其他人的影响，4）每个呈现方法在当前环境中的有效性，5）及其他。
例如，在正在由电子设备向用户呈现信息时，用户可能参与某个其它活动（其要求物理动作、心算或至少精神注意），其将使得某些类型的呈现与其它的相比不那么有效。并且执行该其它活动的重要性可能改变。例如，在驾驶汽车时，向前看路出于安全原因而是极其重要的，而视频呈现的分心可能是危险的。另一方面，当坐在电视前面时看电子设备上的视频将不涉及安全问题。
呈现信息的优选方法可以涉及该呈现将如何影响其他人的考虑。例如，设备上的明亮地点亮的显示可能打扰昏暗的剧院中的附近顾客，而微暗地点亮的显示可能不会。同样地，当处于寂静的图书馆中时通过设备的扬声器的音频消息可能打扰周围的顾客，但是通过耳机的相同音频将不会，而在独自在汽车中驾驶时音频呈现的任一方法将不会打扰其他人。如这里所使用的‘耳机’包括位于用户的耳朵上或附近但不能被附近的人适度地听到的任何种类的音频发生设备。这可以包括耳塞、‘耳罩’风格头挂听筒、用夹子夹上去的单耳头挂听筒等。
另一考虑是呈现方法将有效的可能性。如果环境噪声水平非常高（这可以由设备上的扩音器来检测），则通过扬声器可听地呈现信息可能难以听到，而明亮的日光可能冲掉触摸屏上的色彩并进行难以看到的视觉呈现（这可以用在设备的前面的光传感器来加以检测）。那些方法中没有一个将在所指示的情况下可能是有效的。
图7示出根据本发明的实施例的用于选择向用户呈现信息的方法的过程的流程图。在所示的示例中，在710处，设备可以执行监视环境以获得情况信息（即情况认识）的正在进行的处理。在720处，设备可以执行得到关于用户的上下文信息（即上下文认识）的正在进行的处理。由于上下文认识可能受到情况认识的影响，所以710被示为馈入720。由于两者可以是收集和存储信息的正在进行的处理，所以环710～720可以连续地、反复地或只有在被调用时重复，但是在许多实施例中，其可以是数据收集的正在进行的迭代处理。
分别地，在730处，设备可以确定对某特定信息的需求。该请求可能直接来自于用户（例如，请求针对即将到来的旅行的航班信息），可能是输入通信的结果（例如，输入呼叫触发了对确定应如何处理该通信的需求），或者可能是更间接的确定（例如，设备确定应提醒用户即将到来的约会并请求相关信息）。其它情形也可以产生对特定信息的需求。
在740处，设备可以获得所需的特定信息。设备可以使用获得所述信息的各种功能，并且甚至可以使用它的用于情况和/或上下文认识能力的能力来获得该信息。但是一旦已经获得所述信息，或者设备被至少配置为以及时的方式获得所述信息，则设备必须确定如何向用户呈现该信息。朝着这个目标，设备可以在750处分析用户的当前状态。此分析可能先前已在710～720环中被至少部分地执行。但是在设备知道其需要呈现什么类型的信息之后，可以在750处对其进行进一步改进。
基于此分析，设备可以在760处选择优选的呈现方法，并且设备可以在770处开始经由所选方法与用户通信。然而，在某些情况下，用户可能不希望继续该方法，并且可以在780处忽略该方法。在这种情况下，设备可以在760处选择次优选的方法，并且继续该方法。在其它情况下，用户可以作为忽略动作的一部分而选择次优选的方法。如果用户未忽略，则该呈现方法可以继续不变。
前述说明意图是说明性的而非限制性的。本领域的技术人员将想到变体。那些变体意图被包括在本发明的各种实施例中，其仅仅受以下权利要求的范围来限制。

Claims (15)

1.一种用于呈现信息的装置，包括
用于由用户操作的手持电子设备，该电子设备包括处理器、存储器、无线电以及触摸屏，其中，所述设备将通过执行下述动作来创建相关节点的群集，所述动作包括： 
识别一组期望信息； 
选择被认为可能对产生该组期望信息有所贡献的一组相关节点； 
激活所述节点以自动地执行互相关动作以产生该组期望信息；以及 
通过可视和/或可听装置向用户呈现该期望信息。
2.权利要求1的装置，其中，所述节点中的至少一些节点选自包含以下各项的节点列表：
软件应用；
数据的选择；
内部或外部服务；
来自传感器的输入；以及
通信链路。
3.权利要求1的装置，其中，所述节点中的至少一些节点将被所述电子设备的用户识别。
4.权利要求3的装置，其中，所述确定包括在所述触摸屏上呈现所述节点以由用户选择。
5.权利要求1的装置，其中，所述节点中的至少一些节点将被所述设备使用状态认识自动地识别。
6.一种操作手持电子设备的方法，包括： 
识别一组期望信息； 
通过选择被认为可能对产生该组期望信息有所贡献的一组相关节点来创建节点的群集； 
激活所述节点以自动地执行互相关动作以产生该组期望信息；以及 
通过可视和可听装置中的至少一个向用户呈现该组期望信息。
7.权利要求6的方法，其中，所述选择包括从包含以下各项的节点列表中选择所述节点中的至少一些节点： 
软件应用； 
数据的选择； 
内部或外部服务； 
来自传感器的输入；以及 
通信链路。
8.权利要求6的方法，其中，所述选择包括由所述电子设备的用户来选择所述节点中的至少一些节点。
9.权利要求6的方法，其中，所述选择包括由所述设备使用状态认识来自动地选择所述节点中的至少一些节点。
10.权利要求6的方法，其中，所述创建包括在所述触摸屏上呈现所述节点。
11.一种设备，包括
用于识别一组期望信息的装置； 
用于通过选择被认为可能对产生该组期望信息有所贡献的一组相关节点来创建节点的群集的装置； 
用于激活所述节点以自动地执行互相关动作以产生该组期望信息的装置；以及 
用于通过可视和/或可听装置中的至少一个向用户呈现该组期望信息的装置。
12.权利要求11的设备，其中，所述选择包括从包含以下各项的节点列表中选择所述节点中的至少一些节点：
软件应用；
数据的选择；
内部或外部服务；
来自传感器的输入；以及
通信链路。
13.权利要求11的设备，其中，所述选择包括由所述电子设备的用户来选择所述节点中的至少一些节点。
14.权利要求11的设备，其中，所述选择包括由所述设备使用状态认识来自动地选择所述节点中的至少一些节点。
15.权利要求11的设备，其中，所述用于创建的装置被配置为在触摸屏上呈现所述节点以由用户选择。
