Abstract

The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive coordinate measuring device (1) comprising at least one elastically restorably deformable carrier layer (2) and at least one first (3) and second (4) electrode arrangement, which are arranged on the first (5) or (6) flat side of the carrier layer (2), wherein the first electrode arrangement (3) is formed by at least two electrodes (8) and the second electrode arrangement (4) is formed by at least one electrode (9), wherein the carrier layer (2) is made of a polymer foam and an evaluation device (21) for measuring the electric characteristics of the electrodes (8) of the first electrode arrangement (3) and for measuring the electric characteristics of the electrodes (8, 9) of the first (3) and second (4) electrode arrangement is provided. The invention further relates to a method for determining the position and intensity of a force application on a pressure-sensitive coordinate measuring device (1), wherein a force application on the polymer foam brings about a change of the electrical properties of the foam.
