Abstract

The invention relates to an absorber foil for solar collectors usable for the production of light collectors with a high heat output and low heat capacity based on plastic housings. The foil consists of a laminate of copper foil, preferably 0.017 to 0.035 mm thick, and a black-dyed glass mat with a basis weight from 50 to 100 g/m2. To improve coatability with adhesive, a PE foil may be extruded on the mat, while to increase heat conductivity, an aluminium oxide-based filler may be mixed with the laminating adhesive.
